ROGELIO
CONCEPCION
Mr.
Rogelio Concepcion is 72 years old and has been
disabled since 1996 after he had a Stroke, suffering
a half body paralysis. He cannot walk
and after his Stroke never had a chance to go
outside. He wanted to have a Wheelchair to live a
normal life again, especially when he needed a
medical check-up and wanted to go to Church. Mr.
Rogelio said with tears, "I’ve been paralyzed
for 13 years. I can’t even go to hospital for my
medical treatment. I want a normal life again. I
want to go to Church and pray. I badly need a
Wheelchair; it will help me a lot."

MELBA
DELA CRUZ
Mrs.
Melba Dela Cruz was born September 15th
1954. At 55 years old, she has been disabled for two
months after a fall in the creek. Mrs. Melba
suffered a lot of pain and cannot walk anymore. She
is carried by her family and friends. Her family is
very poor and cannot afford to pay Hospital bills
and operation. Mrs. Melba said, "I can’t
afford my operation we’re just poor, where am I
going to get money to pay for my operation? All I
want is a Wheelchair, so my family will not have to
carry me anymore. I can move on my own with the help
of the Wheelchair and it will give me the
independence I need." |

JOHN
CARL SANTOS
John
Carl Santos is a seven year old boy who was
born with Cerebral Palsy. Despite his condition his
mother Wilma Santos pursues her son’s education
and at his first grade in school John received an
award as first honor and now, as he is growing
bigger, his mother cannot carry him anymore to
school because he is too heavy. Mrs. Santos asked
for help to obtain a Wheelchair that will be a great
help with John Carl’s continuing education.

FRANCISCA
OPERANA
Mrs.
Francisca Operaña is 77 years old. Diagnosed
Diabetic and with her condition she cannot walk
anymore. Her son, who is taking care of her,
asked for a Wheelchair so that he can bring his
mother outside of their house and to Church, and to
Hospital if she needed medical attention. She will
not be carried anymore. |
